Dr. Beaty is in love with what he does for a living and would be humbled by you and your family becoming his patients.
Dr. Beaty was born and reared in Bennettsville, South Carolina. He loves the small town atmosphere of Bennettsville and likes the fact that everyone seems to know one another.
He was in the top 5% of his graduating class from Clemson University, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business in 1984. He was in Sigma Nu social fraternity and was elected to be in many honorary fraternities.
Dr. Beaty received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Graduating in the top of his class, he received several awards: Academy of General Dentistry, American College of Prosthodontics, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. Beaty believes a dentist must continue to educate himself in order to serve his patients well. He takes many more hours of continuing education than is required. He is a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies for Cosmetic Dentistry, Frank Spear Continuums for Esthetic and Comprehensive Dentistry, and the world renowned Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida.
Dr. Beaty is also a graduate of The Engle Implant Institute and The Resnik Implant Institute. He has received a fellowship in implant dentistry from The Resnik Implant Fellowship.
He is married to the love of his life, Sharon Beaty. Sharon is a retired middle school teacher. They have one son, John, who is an Eagle Scout, a Clemson Graduate, and is also a dentist who graduated from the Dental College of Georgia. Dr. Beaty is very proud of his family.
Dr. Beaty is warm, friendly and family-oriented while being very active in his community. Most precious to him is being an elder of First Presbyterian Church in Bennettsville. Dr. Beaty believes one should give of their God given talents to serve the Lord and others. His mission work has consisted of many years of Salkehatchie summer service, and his other mission trips have taken him to places such as Mexico, Haiti, Honduras, Mississippi, Charleston, Florence, and even Bennettsville. Dr. Beaty is also a Rotarian and has been both an assistant scout master and scout master for Boy Scout Troop 625 of Bennettsville.
